Okay, so I just want to tell people about some AMAZING books. These aren't really well known, but that doesn't make them any less good. First up, the Throne of Glass series. It's just amazing. I love it. It's set in medeivel times, and Celaena Sardothien is an asassin with a chance of freedom from the salt mines. She must fight in a competition to become the King's Champion. It's really good!
The next one is the Lunar Chronicles. The first book is called "Cinder". It's a dystopian fairy tale play-off series. Cinder is a cyborg living in future beijing. When Prince Kai comes to her mechanic stall at the market, and the mysterious Lunar Queen visits Earth, Cinder is dragged into a world of shocking revelation, betrayal, and heart break.
Another is the Gone series. It takes place in California. In the middle of school, everyone the age of 15 and older disappears, and some of the remaining kids have started to develop powers. There's superspeed, telekineses, gravity canceling, killing light, and more. The FAYZ has begun.
